3rd Symposium
"Health
Economics in Dermatology"
The Gesellschaft für Dermopharmazie (Society for Dermopharmacy) now
also deals with pharmaco-economic questions. One of the main tasks of
its department Dermatotherapy will be the elaboration of recommendations
for the application of pharmaco-economic methods in the Dermatology. Moreover,
the GD will participate in the organization of the 3rd symposium "Health
Economics in Dermatology" organized by the research group "Outcomes
Research" of the Universitäts-Hautklinik Freiburg (University
Dermatologic Clinic of Freiburg) and held under the scientific leadership
of private lecturer Dr. med. Matthias Augustin in the frame of the 6th
Annual Meeting of the GD in Hamburg on 22 March 2002. The main lectures
will give an overview about the current status of the fields of pharmaco-economy,
epidemiology- and quality-of-life research as well as the quality management
in dermatology. In brief lectures current research studies from these
fields are presented. Further subjects are the future in-patient remuneration
systems (DRGs), the positive list as well as cost aspects in practice
management and in the outpatient-dermatologic therapy. Registration forms
